Finding a local therapist to continue to provide support can be bit daunting, who do you choose and from where? How do you know if they are properly qualified? Our advice is to start with any of the reputable governing bodies listed below, they hold healer registers and require all therapist registered with them to have valid qualifications, insurance and follow a professional code of conduct and ethics.

We cannot however personally endorse any healers we don’t know but these organisations are a good start to finding someone properly qualified near you. If you find 2 or three local practitioners simply call and have a chat about your circumstances, there may be one who is more experienced with cancer or one who is prepared to come to your home if mobility of the patient is an issue, or one who simply feels like a good fit for you. It’s a bit like finding a good builder you need to  have a chat get a quote before you choose a healer that is right for you.
